Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients
1 lb. ground chicken
1- 8oz. can diced water chestnuts
1 cup diced mushrooms
1 cup chopped or diced carrots
2 green onions (chopped)
1 sm. sweet onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
2 tablespoon Soy sauce + extra for dipping
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
¼ cup Hoisin sauce
1 head butter or iceberg lettuce
Hot Chinese Mustard for dipping
Directions
- Brown chicken in pan.
- Add carrots, sweet onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and hoisin sauce.
- When onions are cooked, add in water chestnuts, mushroom & green onion.
- Prepare lettuce for wraps.
- Serve with white rice and Soy sauce mixed with hot Chinese mustard.
