Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
4 medium sweet potatoes or yams
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup granulated or brown sugar (or combination of both)
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
4-6 teaspoons butter
Directions
- Wash and peel sweet potatoes or yams.
- Cut into medium size cubes; cut in half and then thirds or fourths.
- Place into lightly greased baking dish.
- Season with salt, add sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Add cubed butter.
- Cover dish and bake 350’ approximately 45 minutes or until potatoes test done with fork.
